Daughters of Destiny Girls Mentoring and Empowerment has been an active girls mentoring program in Hillsborough County and the Greater Tampa Bay, Florida inner-city communities for over eighteen years. Originating from a local Church Outreach it was formed based on the challenges, needs, and academic struggles of girls in the communities' of Central Park Village, North Boulevard, Sulfur Springs, Robles Park, and Progress Village. This nonprofit organization offers over four developmental programs and various creative, intuitive, and expressive opportunities to grow, with developmental skills to improve and change a life for over a lifetime. Our primary goal: "To Prepare Girls to Become Positive and Productive Young Women"-Through Education, Faith, Inspiration, and Motivation!'

Our opportunities are just as fun and creative as our activities, events, Community Service, mentoring, and fundraising. At Daughters our ultimate mission is to offer every active participants life long learning lessons for 'Real Life Skills' change through, application, adaptation, and motivation for personal and professional success. Our goal is simple" Change, Offer Opportunities' to Improve One's Life through Every Opportunity Available- College and Career Initiatives, Scholastics-100% GPA Programs, Character & Leadership Skills, Health & Wellness......We're here to help Girls learn to love themselves and Become the Change that They want to see!

Daughters of Destiny Girls Mentoring and Empowerment ultimate goal is to reach girls ages of 10 to 18 years old in Hillsborough County and the Greater Metropolitan Tampa Bay, Florida inner city communities. For over thirteen years its been the role of several professional, business owners, and everyday people to share their abilities ,knowledge, skills, and compassion with programs participants and mentees'. Sharing and caring with the intent of making a real impact, life changing lessons, new abilities and opening doors to new opportunities in the lives of Daughters' of Destiny Mentoring program members. Our staff is composed of volunteers from various backgrounds, careers, and skill sets. Their commonality? Care, compassion, and the willingness to help challenged, hurting, and misunderstood girls grow towards positive and productive behavior.
