Daughters of Destiny just had a blast skating for Scholarship Dollars on Sunday, March 30, 2021 at United Skates Centers of America in Tampa, Florida. We are so very proud of all of the Daughters of Destiny members and families who took part in this 6th Annual Skate-A-Thon. This fundraising event takes place every year to help Daughter's raise funding for our 100%GPA Academic Initiative Program. This is our scholastic program that offers after school tutoring, grade monitoring, and GPA increase initiatives for our Daughters of Destiny members. This event was awesome and it improves with every year! |

'Self- Confidence and Self Esteem Development' through Character and Leadership Training
At Daughters of Destiny we're excited about our upcoming classes and course offerings of Self- Confidence development through Character and Leadership training. Our members are anticipating an awesome year of fun-filled learning and special experiences as we examine being a good 'Citizen and the Importance of Loyalty.' We will be pursuing our Community and Public Service projects from September 2021 through July 2022 to help us learn and to also help us continue to be the change that we want to see in this world. We look forward to growing from assisting and helping others and also fostering our goals of becoming and being good citizens.
From 'Canned food drives to Fall College Campus Tours, to our Winter Fashion Show Extravaganza in January 2021' all of these efforts and activities will help us grow and become more confident and, and more capable of operating in a stronger sense of self and understanding our worth and the world around us. Its seems as though the earth, our city, and our schools are moving a mile a minute with ever increasing technology, and ever rapid changes in 'Standardized Testing' in our educational systems. Our youth require what we offer in learning to live responsibly, have respect, and honor , be dependable, and have faith in God, and be good citizens and loyal to our country all of this is a strong example of Character and Leadership . At Daughters of Destiny we are learning and living these examples and models of 'Character and Leadership while we develop a better understanding of our world our own Self-Worth in doing so.
